I am incredibly honored to have been elected for the first time to be San Francisco’s City Attorney.
I’m so grateful for the support of the Chiu Crew. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers, community leaders, activists and those of you who contributed to my campaign, we have the opportunity to continue San Francisco’s historic fight for justice.
My road to becoming your City Attorney did not begin the day I filed my candidacy paperwork, nor the day I was appointed by Mayor London Breed to serve in the position.
It began when years ago, I decided to go to law school, hoping to use the power of the law to fight for justice — for the underrepresented and the overlooked. That fight motivates me every day to work on behalf of all San Franciscans.
The San Francisco City Attorney’s Office has been known nationally as the gold standard of what a public law office should be. I’m thrilled to continue our work fighting for civil rights, protecting workers and consumers, rooting out corporate wrongdoing and corruption, combating climate change, and addressing the issues of the day.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
Now, back to work.
