It’s official ?

Hi Chiu Crew,

Yesterday, I officially filed the paperwork to run for re-election to the California State Assembly in 2020!  

 It has been an incredible honor to represent the people of San Francisco in the California State Legislature. During my first five years in the Assembly, among the 59 new laws I’ve authored, we’ve won historic fights together — enacting the strongest tenant protection law in the country, allowing cities to charter public banks, delivering billions of dollars of funding for Bay Area transit, and defending the civil rights of immigrants, women and our LGBTQ community.

But I’m not done fighting yet — and that’s why I’m running for re-election. Now that we’ve filed, I want to make sure we keep up our momentum. Can I count on you to make a contribution to my re-election campaign today?

I can’t wait to be back on the campaign trail, meeting with San Franciscans to talk about the issues that matter most, and how I can best do my job in our State Capitol.
